ElevATP
ElevATP® is a proprietary ingredient produced by FutureCeuticals. It is a blend of ancient peat (a type of soil material composed of plant debris) and apple extract. The key component that makes ElevATP® interesting for health and exercise enthusiasts is that it has been clinically shown to increase levels of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the body. ATP is the primary source of energy for cells and plays a crucial role in many biological processes.
ATP is essential for muscle contraction, and elevATP has been shown to increase levels of endogenous ATP, leading to improved strength, power, and performance in resistance-trained athletes. In addition to increasing ATP production, elevATP has been reported to enhance mitochondrial ATP production, improve mitochondrial health and function, and amplify signal transduction (anabolic signaling) in muscle.
As a result, elevATP can help improve lean muscle mass, strength, power output, training volume, and athletic performance while enhancing body composition. ElevATP is a natural ingredient that is side-effect-free and far more powerful than caffeine, making it a better way to supplement. It is used in supplements to boost ATP production in the body, and research has shown that it can significantly increase strength and power output during resistance training.
Case Studies and Dosage
Several case studies have been conducted to examine the effects of elevATP on body composition and athletic performance. In one study, 57 subjects participated in an eight-week, resistance and high-intensity interval training study to assess the ergogenic potential of elevATP with and without caffeine plus vitamins in comparison to a visually identical, equal volume placebo. The results showed that elevATP supplementation improved body composition and athletic performance.
In another study, 20 healthy adults were supplemented with 150 mg of elevATP in a single-dose crossover clinical trial. The subjects had their blood work measured prior to supplementation, 60 minutes after, and 120 minutes after. The researchers noted that supplementation with elevATP increased whole blood levels of ATP. The recommended dosage of elevATP is 150mg.
