Paederia Foetida Extract 20:1
Paederia Foetida Extract 20:1 is a concentrated form of the extract of the Paederia foetida herb. It is a herb traditionally used for some aspects of male vitality and has shown typical antioxidative and anti-inflammatory properties with one study suggesting testosterone increasing properties. It has also been traditionally used for intestinal health, particularly anti-diarrheal and anti-dysentry, as well as an invigorator for male health. However, there is limited evidence to work with, and the bioactives are currently not known.
A study has shown that the leaf extract of Paederia foetida Linn. showed remarkable antihyperglycemic activity due to its antihyperlipidemic and antioxidant activity. Another study found that the P. foetida ethanolic extract and its bioactive constituent lupeol have inhibitory potential on hepatic phase I drug metabolism.
The recommended dosage for Paederia Foetida Extract 20:1 has not been established, as it is not well studied yet. As for potential side effects, there is no known toxic effect associated with this herb at this moment in time, but it would be prudent to investigate the main bioactive.
