Punarnava

Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) is a species of flowering plant commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine and other traditional medicines. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, and diuretic properties, among other benefits. It is also known to have anti-cancer and anti-oxidant properties.

  • Side effects: If Punarnava is used unwisely in high dosage (more than 10 grams per day), it can cause vomiting. There may also be mild gastrointestinal side effects.
