Kirenol 2%
Kirenol 2% is a natural compound that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, and immunoregulatory effects. It is a potential lead molecule for new drug design, development, and therapy for inflammation. Kirenol has been studied for its therapeutic effects in various conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute lung injury, and diabetic nephropathy.
In a study on rheumatoid arthritis, Kirenol was found to inhibit the function and inflammation of fibroblast-like synoviocytes in vitro and in vivo. In another study on osteoarthritis, Kirenol was found to inhibit the expression of inflammatory cytokines and enzymes in chondrocytes. Kirenol cream has also been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect comparable to piroxicam gel following carrageenan injection. The recommended dosage of Kirenol 2% may vary depending on the condition being treated.
